Job description:

Assist in build and operation of chemical processes. Help construct and operate chemical pilot plant processes using pipe, tubing, AC/DC-powered instrument/equipment. Assist in operating complex chemical and petroleum processes at pilot (small) scale. Maintain equipment/vehicles, install/remove insulation, deliver packages, assist with welding, cutting, wiring, wire installation, drawings, etc. Create and manage chemical and equipment inventory. Document operation data in logbook and communicate to other shifts. Clean area and maintain parts/equipment inventories.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• H. S. diplomat equivalent is a must
• Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and chemical systems
• Knows how to work with several hand tools and power tools.
• Any experience with chemicals, chemical processes, troubleshooting, and problem solving is also a plus.
• Computer experience with Excel and Word is a must
• Shift work 24/7 will be required. in relevant field or 0 years with an Associates degree
• Experience with demonstration scale operations preferred
• 2 plus years of experience
• Steel Toed shoes is required
• MVR is required

Dress Code: Collared Shirt & jeans

Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm with shift work as necessary
