For more information, please visit .This is a full-time Associate or Full Professor of Criminal Justice to begin Fall 2026. This is a tenured (9-month) faculty position. Tenure will only be granted after approval of the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents. Primary duties will include conducting research and teaching of face-to-face and online undergraduate courses, online graduate courses, and hybrid doctoral courses. Duties also include service on departmental, college, university, and professional committees, including service on dissertation committees. This position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.The Program in Criminal Justice is housed within the Department of Social Sciences, which is within the College of Arts and Sciences. While all specializations will be considered, candidates with expertise in policing, immigration and crime, quantitative research methods, and/or geospatial analysis are especially encouraged to apply. We strongly encourage candidates with strong research skills, a strong record of peer-reviewed publication, the potential for or prior experience with seeking and/or securing external grant funding, and at least 5 years of full-time university teaching experience.We offer competitive salaries and a benefits package including health insurance, retirement benefits, and life insurance.
