Job Description

Warehouse Worker

Paying $20/hr Location: Portland, OR

Responsibilities:

  • Pulling orders downstairs in the basement of the hospitals with supplies that go to doctors, nurses, and techs.
  • Making sure the product is fully stocked in the warehouse and replenishing it once picked.
  • Hand delivering materials to certain areas of the hospital such as ER department, surgical offices and rooms, etc.
  • Placing materials on racks, shelves and bins or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequence.
  • Helping assemble certain parts if needed.

Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working in a team rich environment with 20+ employees.
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs throughout the shift.
  • On their feet for the whole duration of the shift (8 hours).
  • Able to read and write in English.
  • Comfortable using a computer to input data through EPIC.

Environment/Shift:

  • Working in a team that is around 20-25 employees during the day and then the swing/night shift runs at about half of that size.
  • Open to wearing a scrub top and any other proper PPE that is given depending on the certain areas of the hospital.
  • Day Shift: 6am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday but there might be a week where you may be asked to work Tues-Sat.

Job Type & Location: This is a contract to hire position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
