Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Associate where you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for selecting, packing, and moving products to ensure timely and accurate delivery to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Select products according to tickets and accurately place them in boxes for shipments, including product labeling and box building.

• Move products and packages throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment.

• Conduct equipment checks prior to the start of the shift and notify management of any issues or safety concerns.

• Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks and place them in the appropriate location within the warehouse for storage.

• Ensure orders are packed into appropriate shipping containers for customer delivery.

• Inspect products during packing to ensure there is no damage.

• Perform quality control assessments and stack items safely and securely.

• Operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.

• Work in a cold storage distribution environment.

• Lift up to 50 pounds.

Essential Skills

• Experience with forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.

• Ability to select products accurately according to tickets.

• Experience with product labeling and box building.

• Conducting equipment checks and ensuring safety standards are met.

• Experience with loading and unloading trucks.

• Performing quality control and ensuring product safety.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Cold storage experience is a plus.

• Forklift Certification is a plus.

• Experience with RF scanners and electric pallet jacks.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule is a plus.

Work Environment and Shift

Work in a cold storage environment, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment.

The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and may involve working flexible hours

11AM - 7PM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Polk City, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
