Overview Technical Translator - English to French. Reynolds and Reynolds is seeking Technical Translators who are bilingual in French (Canadian-French preferred) and English. Translation from English to Canadian-French is primary; translation from French to English is required on occasion. This position requires working from our office in Houston, TX. Responsibilities Translate hardcopy manuals and online reference materials for software products licensed for use in Quebec, Canada. Translate software manuals, help messages, legal and human resources documents, marketing materials, and other documents used by internal associates and customers. Conduct product testing before translation changes and suggest improvements to Reynolds and Reynolds software. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and Canadian French Self-driven, self-directed, and independent Good spelling, proofreading, grammar, and editing skills Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and organized Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
