Seasonal Retail Porter Opportunity At Petco Park

Delaware North Sportservice is searching for seasonal Retail Porters to join our team at Petco Park in San Diego, California. As Retail Porter, you will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock, preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup, and performing inventory and quality control. What will you do?

• Perform transfers of products and merchandise to and from the warehouse
• Receive products and merchandise, check for quality and damage, and ensure proper storage of delivered products and merchandise; perform physical inventory as needed
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Process requests for supplies, prepare merchandise for delivery, and prepare packages for shipping according to established procedures
• Ensure security of company assets

More about you

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• One year warehouse experience preferred
• Basic math and counting skills required

Physical requirements

• Ability to pull heavy carts of stock throughout facility; requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during entire length of shift.
• Exposure to outdoors and variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold depending on the season
