Our climate-focused digital marketing agency seeks an experienced sales specialist to introduce and sell our super-affordable digital products and services to small and midsize business to help them thrive, and help achieve our climate mission. We are
This is a part-time, home-based, independent contractor position with a 1099 IRS tax status.
CLIMATE MISSION: A1) We will donate 10% of our gross revenue from our Climate Club membership program to 5 of the most impactful climate nonprofit organizations (TBD, ex: Sierra Club, The Nature Conservancy, World Wildlife Fund). A2) We will also encourage each business customer to consider donating 1% of their profits to an impactful climate nonprofit of their choice B) We will provide regular educational webinars on sustainable practices to inform and encourage businesses on ways to reduce their energy, waste, water and resource use. C) We will also provide regular educational webinars by experts in Green Banking and Sustainable Investing (ESG) to help businesses and their employees identify if some of their current investments (mutual funds, pension funds, etc.) might inadvertently be supporting climate change, the fossil fuel industry or other industries that are at odds with their business or personal values. We’ll encourage them to consider moving some modest amount of funds into green banks &/or more sustainable investments.
BASE, TRAINING and SUPPORT
All terms of service will be spelled out in a written agreement.
The successful candidate will receive paid training, base pay of $30/hour, plus commission. At this rate we will train you on our products, services, strategy and marketing materials. This is an independent contractor, 1099 IRS form position. The sales specialist will be provided a $30/hour hourly rate, plus 30% commission to get started. The hourly rate will decrease, ideally as sales and recurring monthly income grows from recurring monthly revenue, as many of our products are monthly subscriptions, with the goal of earning $50 to $80/hour average from commissions alone for time actually worked.
PRODUCTS & SERVICES
For products sold individually, or as a bundled package, you will earn a 30% commission. For any products/services that are monthly subscriptions you will continue to earn a 30% commission monthly as long as the subscription lasts and you are active with our agency.
We will provide fulfillment of all products and services, and all customer support.
However, sales specialists will ‘own’ the customer relationship if that is their choice.
Any upsells will also earn the same commission as the original sale, including monthly subscription sales.
With our training, support and our compelling, mission-driven business model, we expect you to become successful.
WEEKLY PAYMENTS
All payments will be made on Friday each week for any sales payments which have cleared our bank.
TRANSPARENCY
We will track all sales in Google Drive providing visibility/transparency so everyone sees leads, closed sales, payments due and payments received.
QUALIFIED LEADS PROVIDED AT NO COST, EVER
We will provide leads at no cost to you using a data mining tool. Our target markets are small and midsize businesses in home improvement (HVAC, roofing, kitchen & bath, landscaping, etc.) and professional services (chiro, dentist, accounting, law, financial svcs, etc). We will provide business name, address, phone and email when available. Qualified Leads means businesses identified as having some specific need or opportunity, such as having many bad reviews, or not having a video on their homepage, so you have one or more reasons to contact, effectively engage and introduce our products and services as solutions.
CLIMATE CLUB MEMBERSHIP
We also offer a unique, extremely affordable and cost-effective 3-tiered monthly subscription model affordable for any business. Tier 1 is free for 2 referrals. Tier 2 - $20/month. Tier 3 - $50/month. Sales of Climate Club memberships also earn a 30% commission as long as the subscription lasts.
