Registered Dental Assistant (Contract)

Location: San Francisco, CA

Contract Duration: 36 months

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $30 $35 per hour (DOE)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join a busy dental practice in San Francisco on a 36 month contract. The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of chairside experience, strong technical skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a professional practice while supporting high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with state requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts.
• Ensure patient comfort and provide excellent chairside support.
• Perform infection control and sterilization duties per OSHA and dental board standards.
• Set up and clean operatories between patients efficiently.
• Assist with scheduling, treatment coordination, and front office tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required.
• X-ray certification and CPR certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience as an RDA in a general or specialty practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a busy environment.
• Dedicated to patient care, professionalism, and teamwork.

Compensation & Details:

• $30$35 per hour, depending on experience.
• Contract position (36 months) with potential for extension or permanent hire.
• MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
