Project Manager with TXDOT experience - Geotechnical Geotechnical Project Manager
Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Project Manager with experience in TxDOT projects to lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project execution, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities - Manage geotechnical engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct foundation design and analysis in compliance with TxDOT standards.
- Lead site investigations and soil mechanics assessments to gather necessary data for project planning.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success.
- Prepare and review technical reports, project documentation, and design calculations.
- Implement risk assessment strategies and quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize AutoCAD for design and drafting of geotechnical engineering plans and details.
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders effectively.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a focus on TxDOT projects.
- Proven project management experience with strong leadership skills.
- Knowledge of soil mechanics, site investigation techniques, and construction materials.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations related to geotechnical engineering.
- Experience in budget management and risk assessment practices.
