Job Description

*Overview* We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a deep understanding of acupuncture techniques. This role involves assessing patients' conditions, developing treatment plans, and providing effective acupuncture therapy to manage pain and promote overall wellness. The Acupuncturist will work closely with patients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to best practices in patient service.

• Duties*
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and evaluations of medical history.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, focusing on acute pain management and overall health improvement.
• Administer acupuncture treatments using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Utilize trigger point therapy as needed to alleviate specific areas of discomfort.
• Provide education to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments, progress, and any relevant medical terminology.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in acupuncture techniques and pain management practices.
• Requirements*
• Valid CPR Certification and BLS Certification are required.
• Insurance credentialing is essential before applying.
• Proven experience in acute pain management and trigger point therapy is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is essential for effective patient assessment and care.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional patient service.
• Ability to perform physical examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans based on assessments.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and aseptic technique during treatments.
