Role Overview:

Lead with Flavor and Purpose – Become a General Manager/Chef Manager with Sodexo in Alexandria, LA!

 

Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager/Chef Manager to lead food operations at a prominent manufacturing site in Alexandria, Louisiana . This is a high-impact role where you’ll be both the culinary leader and strategic manager of a dynamic food service program.

What You’ll Oversee
  • A corporate café serving Breakfast (7–9:30 AM), Lunch (11–1:30 PM), and Dinner (8 PM–1 AM)
  • Catering services for daily needs and special events throughout the year

Salary 80K plus Bonus. This role may be eligible for a Sign On Bonus

 

Incentives: Predominately a M-F schedule with occassional evenings and weekends What You'll Do:

As the General Manager/Chef Manager, you’ll:

  • Be the face of Sodexo to our client, building strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction
  • Lead and inspire a team of 12–14 hourly employees
  • Oversee budgeting, financials, and operational performance
  • Drive menu innovation , ordering, and inventory management
  • Be hands-on 80% of the time , bringing your culinary skills to life
  • Manage catering production for both routine and special events

  • Excellent communication and client relationship management
  • Solid understanding of financials, budgeting, and cost controls
  • Ability to manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
  • Experience with menu planning and catering coordination
  • Comfortable being hands-on in kitchen operations
