Flat Rate Technician – Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan Company: Gee Automotive Companies Location: Wilsonville, OR (just off I‑5) Base Pay: $60,000 – $100,000 per year (based on experience and skill level) Description Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan, a top‑performing automotive dealership serving the Greater Portland Metro area, is actively seeking Flat Rate Technicians to join our Service Team. As a Flat Rate Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain Nissan and pre‑owned vehicles with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as an automotive technician at a new‑car dealership and strong attention to detail. Responsibilities Accurately diagnose and perform repairs on a variety of Nissan and pre‑owned vehicles following manufacturer standards. Complete routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, brake work, and inspections. Identify additional service needs through thorough multi‑point inspections. Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding repair needs, progress, and completion timelines. Maintain high‑quality workmanship and attention to detail on every repair. Stay current on factory training, technical bulletins, and industry best practices. Keep a clean, safe, and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and compliance with dealership standards. Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, high‑performing shop culture.
