Job Title: Warehouse Associate – Rider Pallet Jack Operator
Employer: Midway Staffing
Location: Westhampton, NJ 08060
Pay Rate: $18.09/hour
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM (with mandatory overtime until 3:30 AM as needed)
Employment Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview

Midway Staffing is seeking motivated Warehouse Associates to join our team. This role focuses on the picking, packing, and shipping of merchandise to customers in both local and outlying areas.

Qualified candidates must have prior experience operating rider pallet jacks (double or single-length). Candidates with only manual pallet jack experience will not be considered.

This position offers a temp-to-hire opportunity for candidates who demonstrate excellent attendance, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and stock incoming merchandise

• Process and stock returned goods

• Prepare merchandise for outbound shipment

• Perform cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks (PIP Report Counting)

• Replenish picking slots from reserve locations

• Pick and assemble customer orders

• Assemble and verify pre-packaged orders

• Operate rider pallet jack (double-length preferred; single-length operators may be trained)

• Operate forklift, cherry picker, shrink wrap machine, and RF scanning equipment

• Maintain clean and organized work areas (housekeeping duties)

• Regularly lift, move, and handle products weighing 40–60 lbs throughout the shift

• Accurately use PC/Data Terminal for order processing, returns, and shipping systems

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements

• Previous experience operating a rider pallet jack (double-length preferred; training available for single-length operators)

• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers

• Experience with RF scanning systems and shrink wrap machines

• Ability to repeatedly lift 40–60 pounds per shift

• Ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand, and twist for extended periods of time

• Must successfully complete forklift/pallet jack training and certification

• Strong communication skills (oral and written)

• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as required

Additional Information

• Position is temp-to-hire for qualified candidates with excellent attendance and performance

• Steel-toe boots required

• Warehouse environment – not climate controlled
