Join a fast-paced and highly respected cardiology practice dedicated to providing exceptional cardiovascular care. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused EKG Technician who will also take the lead on scheduling select hospital-based procedures for our physicians. This is a dual-role opportunity ideal for someone who thrives in both clinical and administrative settings.

Key Responsibilities:
EKG Technician Duties

  • Perform standard and stress electrocardiograms (EKGs), Holter monitor placements, and event monitors

  • Prepare patients for testing and explain procedures clearly and professionally

  • Maintain equipment and ensure accurate test results

  • Record and input data into patient medical records and assist physicians as needed

Hospital Scheduling Coordinator Duties

  • Coordinate and schedule outpatient and inpatient hospital procedures for some physicians 

  • Liaise with hospital departments, ensuring proper documentation and patient instructions are communicated

  • Confirm patient eligibility and pre-authorization when needed

  • Follow up on procedure dates, time changes, and physician availability

  • Serve as a point of contact for patients regarding hospital logistics

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in cardiology or outpatient cardiac testing highly preferred

  • Experience with medical scheduling systems and electronic health records (EHRs)

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable interacting with patients, hospital staff, and physicians
