Ogeechee Technical College is seeking a Classroom Driver's Education Classroom Instructor who will provide instruction and guidance for continuing education Driver's Education in-class training for Ogeechee Technical College facilities. Major duties include:
Class is state-approved and meets the requirements put in place in 2007 with the establishment of Joshua's Law to teach young, inexperienced drivers safe driving techniques.
Prior to hire, applicant will have to pass Driver Instructor written exam, doctor approved physical examination, submit to drug screening, background check, and driving record check. Expenses for these assessments will be paid by Ogeechee Technical College.
Minimum qualifications: Must be at least 25 years old; Valid Driver's license.
Work Hours: 8:00 5:00 Mon. Thurs. Class schedule mirrors that of the Bulloch County Board of Education calendar, with classes being held during the summer break and during any week-long break that coincides with Ogeechee Technical College being open at the same time.
Preferred Qualifications: Classroom instruction experience requested but not required.
Salary/Benefits: Salary is competitive and commensurate with education and work experience. No Benefits.
