The Amazon Global Benefits team is seeking a

Benefits Specialist (Benefits Specialist II) to own and enhance financial wellness for Amazonians. This role will raise the bar on the end-to-end experience Amazonians have and will be accountable for managing program performance, building, inventing, and simplifying the experience for financial wellness.
Benefit Managers serve as program-level leaders within the organization. They are responsible for creating, managing, and reporting on various financial health programs. They possess the deepest level of knowledge and expertise regarding how the organization is addressing key employee needs related to financial health.

This role is based in Seattle, WA (HQ1). Periodic domestic business travel is required.

Key job responsibilities
• Create and maintain approved program documents

• Works cross collaboratively with Health and Wellness, Mental Health, Disability and Leave teams among others to solve for employee financial health needs.

• Works with various partner teams such as Payroll, Technology, Legal, and Procurement teams to maintain a high bar for program operation.

• Establish and report on program outcome key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Manage vendor relationships

• Oversee day-to-day program needs

• Ensure compliance with Amazon benefits requirements

About the team
The Global Financial Health team’s mission is to support overall employee financial health. We maximize partnerships when feasible and build new programs when necessary. We constantly bring forward big ideas and emerging topics from the personal finance industry. We act as thought leaders and subject matter experts in the space of personal finance, the employee financial benefits industry, and financial benefit public policy globally. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


- 5+ years in the personal financial industry. (Banking, Investing, Financial Health Programs, Financial Education, or Financial Planning for example)
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 5+ years of vendor management experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of leading large complex programs experience
- Master's degree in finance, accounting or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $135,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
